Authentic Ryman film footage.

Approximately 400-feet, 16mm.

Scene One: Sir Roger DeCoverly II Jr., the dog used for the first motion pictures made and shown on public screens in
this country, working Ruffed Grouse "in surpeme fashion" in the Pennsylvania hills.

Scene Two: Grouse and Woodcock hunting at Ryman's Canadian Hunting and Fishing Club.


Scene Three: Ryman's behind the scenes breeding program showing the cross-breeding of English Setters to Gordon Setters.

This Early 1900s Hunter and English Lamp (photo above) depicts a Hunter and his Setter (could be English, Irish or Gordon). The base is created from cast metal with an antique bronze finish and includes the original glass globe shade as shown. It measures 10 3/4 inches to the top of the shade, 8 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches deep at the base. It is in perfect working condition, has felt on the bottom and is in excellent condition for its age. May need a little cleaning to suit the new owner. Contact information at top of page.

Early 1900s Hunter and Pointer, German Shorthair, Viszla, Weimaraner Lamp with Key or Change Tray

This Early 1900s Hunter and Pointer, German Shorthair, Viszla or Weimaraner Lamp (pictured above) has a key, cufflink or change tray on the side. Created from cast metal with an antique bronze finish, it shows a brace of dogs and measures as shown to top of light bulb socket 9 3/4 inches high, 8 1/4 wide and 4 inches deep at the base. It has felt on the bottom and is in perfect working condition although has the original wiring. No globe is included with this piece, it is offered as shown.
